The LET.ME brand is a provider of Transportation and an agent of the Carrier (Carrier), i.e. the company that provides the actual Transport for the customer or passenger (Customer) who needs the transport. The Carrier also ensures the performance of any additional services and products ordered on this website. For the performance of such services, LET.ME shall:
- Receive from the Customer the necessary and complete information for the performance of the ordered Transport.
- Send the Customer by e-mail a confirmation of the Transport ordered and paid for.
- Provide the Carrier with the details of the Customer or passenger booking, including the details of the Passenger pick-up.
- Send the contact details of the Carrier and any other available information to the Customer or passenger prior to the Transport.
- Provide support and monitor the implementation of the order.
By confirming a booking through www.letme.si, the Customer agrees to the Terms and Conditions and warrants that all passengers under the age of 18 are travelling accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- DEFINITION OF TERMS
- 1.1 TRANSPORT – a set of services including:
- The Carrier’s waiting for the passengers at the pick-up point, either until their arrival or until expiration of the agreed waiting time;
- The Carrier’s meeting with the passengers;
- Escorting passengers to the vehicle and placing luggage on board the vehicle;
- Transporting passengers to the specified destination.
- 1.2 CARRIER – a Transport company licensed to transport passengers by road. A Carrier may be a Transport provider or a Carrier with a contract of Transport with LET.ME.
- 1.3 TRANSPORT CUSTOMER – may be either the passenger or the person who books and orders the Transport. This may be a natural or legal person. By confirming the Transport order, the Transport customer agrees that LET.ME may organise the Transport at its own discretion.
- 1.4 TRANSPORT ORDER – is made when the Customer orders the Transport by confirming the General Terms and Conditions and making payment. The data entered by the Customer on the website is necessary for the execution of the Transport order. After payment has been made, the Customer receives a ticket to his/her e-mail address.
- 1.5 ORDER OF ADDITIONAL SERVICES – Products or additional services can be ordered via the website and can be provided by the Carrier either together with the Transport or during the Transport. They are usually payable at the time of ordering the Transport.
- 1.6 LET.ME – is a transport provider and intermediary of services. It is a brand of Veni vidi vici d.o.o., Štihova ulica 13, Ljubljana, Slovenia. LET.ME offers services through the website www.letme.si and other applications, information systems, and channels that allow searching for information, ordering transports and other support.
- 1.7 The TICKET – is a document which the Customer receives via e-mail when the payment of the Transport booking is completed on the www.letme.si website. The Ticket contains all essential information about the Transport and confirms the service already paid for. With this document, LET.ME undertakes to carry out the ordered Transport and all additional ordered services.
- 1.8 COUPON – can be purchased as a gift or as a discount that LET.ME may grant to the Transport Customer in various cases specified in these General Terms and Conditions. The validity of the Coupon is one year from the date of issue. A Coupon can only be redeemed on new orders and not on already booked Transports. A Coupon may only be used in its full value; any unused amount cannot be used at a later date or transferred to new purchases, nor can it be redeemed in cash. A Coupon is not linked specifically to a person’s name and may be redeemed by any other person.
- 1.9 WAITING TIME – each ordered Transport comes with a certain waiting time, during which the Carrier will wait for the passengers beyond the agreed meeting time. The duration of the waiting time included in the Transport depends on the type of Transport and is detailed in Article 4 of the General Terms and Conditions.
- 1.10 PICK-UP POINT – is the point where the Carrier and the passenger shall meet. The Pick-up point is determined and specified in the message sent prior to the execution of the ordered Transport.
- 1.11 LET.ME SUPPORT – operates via telephone or e-mail. We are available for any further questions about the Transport services ordered, as well as about other services offered by LET.ME
- 1.12 CONTRACTING PARTIES – upon confirmation of the Transport order and payment, the Customer and LET.ME become contracting parties according to the General Terms and Conditions.
- 1.13 WEBSITE – www.letme.si
- 1.14 PASSENGER – may be the Transport Customer or the person who will be travelling with LET.ME. A Passenger, as the term is used in these Terms and Conditions, may be more than one person. In the case of the Transportation of several persons, the person who provided the information when the Transport was ordered, shall be considered the Passenger during the Transport.
- 1.15 TRANSPORT CONTRACT – valid between LET.ME and the Customer, is considered to be entered into from the moment of confirmation of the Transport Order. These General Terms and Conditions, as published on this website, shall be considered both the Transport Contract and a Transport intermediation contract.
- 1.16 VEHICLE CLASSES – Transport is carried out with vehicles of different classes, such as: cars, passenger vans and business vehicles. They are divided into five classes of vehicles: comfort plus – passenger cars, comfort small van – passenger vans up to 6 persons, comfort van – passenger vans up to 8 persons, business class – passenger business vehicles, business class van – passenger business vans. Each vehicle has a maximum passenger and luggage capacity for each vehicle class.
- 1.1 TRANSPORT – a set of services including:
- CONDITIONS OF TRANSPORTATION
- 2.1 Upon confirmation of the Transport booking via the LETME.si website, the Customer assumes full responsibility for the correctness and authenticity of all data entered. Should the data entered during the booking process be incomplete or contain incorrect information, the Customer shall be considered liable for the event of a service not having been provided within the scope of this offer.
- 2.2 After having processed the Transport Order, LET.ME may send a message via e-mail in case clarification of some of the data entered might be necessary. Upon receipt of the necessary information, the order will be confirmed, and the Transport carried out.
- 2.3 Booking is possible up to 24 hours before the desired Transport.
- MEETING POINT AND DESTINATION
- 3.1 A meeting point is the place where the Carrier will wait for Passengers. The Carrier will take the Passengers to the destination as indicated at the time of booking.
- 3.2 The meeting point and destination on this website may be limited by city, administrative units, different locations. Where such limitations apply, the search engine may show some cities as suggested destinations, i.e. hotels, train stations, bus stations, tourist attractions, etc. All suggestions displayed are provided by LET.ME.
- DATE AND TIME OF ARRIVAL OF THE CARRIER
- 4.1 The date and time selected at the time of booking determine when the Carrier is expected to be present at the pick-up point to collect Passengers. For the exact time of the Carrier’s arrival, the flight number, any train number, name of ship, and similar data must also be entered at the item “pick-up point.”
- 4.2 The transport price includes a certain waiting time at pick-up, depending on the type of service:
- Transfers from airports: include a 60-minute waiting time
- Railway stations, bus stations, ports: include 30 minutes waiting time
- Other Transport: includes 20 minutes waiting time
The included waiting time starts from the booked pick-up time. Beyond the waiting time as mentioned in the previous paragraph, the Carrier may charge any additional waiting time according to the price list, which is EUR 9.00 per 15 min waiting time.
- 4.3 For bookings where the destination is an airport, port, railway station or other place where the passenger must arrive at a specific time, the passenger shall calculate the exact day and time of departure him/herself. The passenger assumes full responsibility for any late arrival at the destination due to an incorrect calculation or estimation of the necessary time. The LET.ME website will show the approximate journey time when booking.
- 4.4 When booking a transfer to an airport, we suggest you set the departure time according to the duration of the transport, and consider the fact that passengers should arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before the scheduled departure.
- CHOICE OF VEHICLE CLASSES
- 5.1 The number of passengers, including children, must correspond to the capacity of the selected class of vehicle. In the event of the addition of child seats or non-standard luggage, the capacity of the vehicle may be reduced, as a result of the added items, so the stated capacity of the vehicle may no longer apply. In such case, a vehicle class with a higher capacity must be selected.
- 5.2 It is the responsibility of the person booking the Transport to choose the appropriate child seat for the child travelling with us.
- 5.3 Transportation in a better class of vehicle for the same price shall not constitute a breach of this offer.
- LUGGAGE
- 6.1 The sum of the dimensions (length, width, and height) of a standard piece of luggage (bag or suitcase) shall not exceed 158 cm.
- 6.2 Luggage exceeding the above specified dimensions, as well as sports equipment (skis/boards, bicycles, surfboards, golf bags, etc.), prams, wheelchairs, musical instruments, portable animal cages, etc., shall be considered non-standard luggage. Such types of luggage require a prior arrangement as they may lead to transportation in a different class of vehicle and may therefore increase the cost of the service.
- 6.3 Transportation of all types of domestic animals is permitted only in a designated transportation cage, basket, box, or container with a fixed base and must not exceed the standard size of the luggage.
- CONTACT DETAILS
- 7.1 To ensure timely and uninterrupted notifications regarding the booked Transport and/or any possible changes, the following information must always be provided:
First and last name, mobile phone number, e-mail address and other data (if applicable). Data that is required to be entered during booking of the Transport on this website, is marked with an asterisk or indicated by the system. - 7.2 All data entered during the booking process is treated and protected by LET.ME as confidential information and used in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the Privacy Policy.
- 7.1 To ensure timely and uninterrupted notifications regarding the booked Transport and/or any possible changes, the following information must always be provided:
- INFORMATION, SUPPORT AND MONITORING OF TRANSPORT BOOKINGS
- 8.1 All the important information related to the order placed shall be sent to the e-mail address or telephone number provided during the booking process. We shall send you the details of the Carrier and any other information about the Transport at least 30 minutes before the Transport.
- 8.2 If the information provided by the Customer turns out to be inaccurate, we shall not be liable or responsible for any damages that may result from the use of such incorrect information.
- 8.3 In case we might not be able in due time to receive or view messages containing Transport information because the telephone line or internet network is not working, this shall constitute a case of Force Majeure. The Customer agrees to accept that LET.ME shall not be responsible should this result in the Transport not being carried out.
- 8.4 In the event of any unexpected changes that might occur, the LET.ME system may send subsequent messages with updated information. The Customer must always follow the instructions contained in the most recent message received, as the system message may provide new information about another Carrier and/or a changed pick-up time or location.
- 8.5 The contact details of the LET.ME Support Service are mentioned on the Ticket the Customer has received and we are available to answer any further questions.
- POSSIBLE CHANGES AND CANCELLATION OF THE CONTRACT OF TRANSPORT:
- 9.1 CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER
- 9.1.1 The Customer has the right to modify or cancel an already booked Transport at any time. Any modification or cancellation must be communicated to LET.ME by e-mail support@letme.si or via the contact details provided in the confirmation e-mail.
If LET.ME receives a cancellation request from the Customer up to 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time, the Customer has the following options:
- a) A Coupon of 100% of the amount paid can be redeemed for all new Transport bookings. The Coupon is valid for 12 months from the date of issue, is transferable and can be used by any person. However, a Coupon is not transferable from a natural person to a legal person or vice versa.
In case the price of the Transport is lower than the value of the Coupon, the Coupon will cover the full value of the new Transport, the remainder of its value, however, is non-refundable and non-redeemable. In case the price of the Transport is higher than the value of the Coupon, the difference between the price of the Transport and the value of the Coupon is to be paid. The Coupon is issued for a single use and cannot be cancelled. - b) 80% of the amount paid will be refunded to the client’s bank account from which payment was received. The remaining 20% of the amount paid will be retained by LET.ME to cover any costs incurred by the cancellation.
- 9.1.2 In the event that LET.ME receives cancellation of the Customer’s Transport less than 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time, this shall be deemed a last-minute cancellation for which the Customer shall not be entitled to a refund. 100% of the amount paid shall be retained by LET.ME to cover any costs incurred in cancelling the Transport. The Customer expressly agrees that no refund of the already paid purchase price is possible. Upon cancellation of the order, the Customer will receive a cancellation confirmation and a receipt of the amount paid.
- 9.1.1 The Customer has the right to modify or cancel an already booked Transport at any time. Any modification or cancellation must be communicated to LET.ME by e-mail support@letme.si or via the contact details provided in the confirmation e-mail.
- 9.2 CANCELLATION BY LET.ME
- 9.2.1 LET.ME shall not be liable for any flight cancellations, changes, or delays in the landing of aircraft nor of any other circumstances beyond the control of the Transport ordered. Should delays be caused by the Customer, the Carrier cannot guarantee waiting for the Customer at the pick-up point beyond the expiration of the included waiting time.
- 9.2.2 LET.ME may cancel the Transport up to 12 hours prior to the booked Transport, either by e-mail or SMS. In such case, the Customer shall receive a full refund of the paid purchased price within 10 days from the date of notification. LET.ME shall not be liable for any additional costs that might be incurred as a result of the cancellation of the Transport, to which the Customer expressly agrees.
- 9.2.3 In the event of any errors that might appear in the ordering system, the Order may be cancelled by LET.ME after the received Order has been checked. The Customer will be notified of the cancellation by LET.ME within 24 hours. The Customer will receive a full refund of the paid purchase price within 10 days from the date of the notification. LET.ME shall not be liable for any costs incurred as a result of the cancellation, to which the Customer expressly agrees.
- 9.2.4 In the event of any fraudulent activity occurring via the LET.ME system, the Order will be immediately cancelled and reported to the competent authorities. Any purchase price already paid will be retained by LET.ME, to which the Customer expressly agrees.
- 9.1 CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER
- NO PRESENCE AT THE PICK-UP POINT:
- 10.1 BY THE PASSENGER
- 10.1.1 The mobile number entered by the Passenger in the booking form for the Transport must be reliably available for incoming calls from the starting time of the Transport as indicated by the Passenger, during the waiting time, and until the first meeting with the Carrier.
- 10.1.2 If, at the end of the waiting time, the Passenger fails to appear at the place indicated on the ¸ Ticket and fails to answer incoming calls or to respond to messages from LET.ME or the Carrier, the Carrier shall be entitled to refuse the booked Transport. The Customer expressly agrees that in such a case the contract is considered to be cancelled and that he/she is not entitled to any refund of the already paid purchase price.
- 10.2 BY THE CARRIER
- 10.2.1 The Carrier will always make all possible efforts to arrive at the pick-up point at the agreed time. In the event the Passenger and the Carrier are unable to find each other, the Carrier shall first call the Passenger and then also LET.ME Support, to check if the Passenger and the Carrier may have missed each other.
- 10.2.2 In the unlikely event that the Carrier was not present at the pick-up point at the agreed time, the Customer may file a request for compensation within 7 days from the date of the Transport.
- 10.2.3 With his/her request for compensation, the Customer must attach the following evidence:
- Proof that the Passenger was, indeed, present at the pick-up point at the agreed time;
- Proof that the Passenger has called the Carrier by telephone;
- Proof that the Passenger has called LET.ME support to report that the Carrier has not picked him/her up.
- 10.2.4 To prove the presence of the Passenger at the pick-up point, a photograph of the pick-up point may be taken:
- HOTEL; a picture with a clock and the hotel reception in the background;
- AIRPORT or RAILWAY STATION: a picture with a clock in the background and an information board showing the departures and arrivals of the aircraft/train;
- A SCREENSHOT showing the location of the passenger, showing both the time and the date; or
- The Passenger may attach anything else which offers evidence that he/she was present at the pick-up point at the agreed time.
- 10.2.5 In the event of the Carrier’s non-arrival, the Customer shall receive a full refund of the purchase price within 10 days of the notification sent.
- 10.1 BY THE PASSENGER
- FORCE MAJEURE
- 11.1 Force Majeure is an event which could not have been anticipated, avoided, or averted. In a case of Force Majeure, LET.ME shall not be liable for any failure to organise the ordered Transport. Nor shall LET.ME in such case be liable for any extra costs incurred as a result of cancellation of the Transport and a refund of any amounts already paid shall therefore not be possible, to which the Customer expressly agrees.
- 11.2 Force majeure shall include the following: various mass diseases (viruses, epidemics), all natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, storms), fires, strikes, wars, acts of terrorism, sabotage, cyber-attacks, transport restrictions, governmental prohibitions, and trade bans, which may exist between different countries as a result of international sanctions, and other circumstances beyond the control of the Contracting Parties.
- 11.3 The Contracting Parties shall notify each other in a timely manner of a Force Majeure occurrence and shall confirm it with an appropriate document issued by a relevant governmental authority in the country in which such Force Majeure circumstances occur.
- 11.4 A Contracting Party who fails to comply with the requirements of this Article 11 shall not be entitled to invoke Force Majeure and therefore to withdraw from the Contract and to recover any sums and damages.
- REFUNDS OF AMOUNTS PAID
- 12.1 In the event of any refund of the purchase amounts stipulated in this Contract, LET.ME will refund the money to the bank account that was used by the Customer to pay for the order.
- 12.2 LET.ME reserves the right to refuse payment to a customer whose banks have already carried out a refund procedure for the same order.
- 12.3 LET.ME shall consider a refund transfer completed when the money is no longer in LET.ME’s bank account or as soon as the payment is sent off to a domestic or international payment system.
- 12.4 All refund procedures and deadlines shall depend on the bank of the Customer or the international payment system.
- THE CARRIER’S RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PASSENGERS’ TRANSPORT AND THEIR BELONGINGS
- 13.1 The Carrier shall be liable for damages incurred, according to the regulations that are in force in the Republic of Slovenia.
- 13.2 Except in cases where the damage was caused by an act of the Passenger or by an external cause which could not have been foreseen, avoided, or averted (Force Majeure), the Carrier shall be liable for damages which may occur during the Transport ordered and which may result in the death, impairment of health, or injury of the Passenger.
- 13.3 The Carrier shall be liable according to the valid regulations, for damages to or loss of any luggage, except in cases where the luggage was added to or removed from the Transport vehicle by the Passenger himself.
- 13.4 To claim compensation, the Passenger (the injured party) must send a written request for compensation within 7 days of the occurrence of any such damage. The claim must be addressed to the Carrier via the contact details provided by e-mail or SMS before the Transport took place. The injured party shall also notify LET.ME of the claim for compensation via support@letme.si.
- VEHICLE BREAKDOWN
In the event of an unexpected event where a vehicle becomes inoperable, LET.ME will arrange alternative transport for the Passenger as soon as possible. In such circumstances, LET.ME reserves the right to change the class of the vehicle (e.g. comfort plus class might be used instead of business class) and will arrange for a vehicle to pick up the Passenger as soon as possible. If a replacement vehicle cannot be provided within four hours since the vehicle became inoperative, the Transport order already paid for will be refunded to the Customer.
If LET.ME has arranged a replacement for a vehicle that had the breakdown, the Customer shall not be entitled to any other reimbursement or compensation, to which he/she expressly agrees, unless the Passenger proves that the vehicle breakdown was caused by a gross negligence or wilful misconduct of the Carrier. LET.ME and the Carrier shall not be liable for any other costs or damages incurred by the Customer or the Passenger themselves.
- INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS AND COPYRIGHT
The owner of the intellectual property and everything related to the LET.ME trademark is the company Veni vidi vici d.o.o.
It is forbidden to copy any intellectual property of LET.ME, to reproduce, transmit, modify, distribute, or in any other way use any part or the whole of the website www.letme.si, unless this has been authorised in writing by Veni vidi vici d.o.o.
The use of any interface device or software that may directly or indirectly affect the operation of the website is prohibited. It is also prohibited to interfere, or attempt to interfere, with the normal functioning of the website. Any attempt that we deem to be causing a strain on our system will be immediately terminated. Any guest who shall cause damage to LET.ME shall be liable for all damages that may result from his/her unlawful use as described in this Article.
- CONTRACT OF TRANSPORT AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
The General Terms and Conditions as published on this Website shall apply as a Transport contract and Transport intermediation. The parties shall endeavour to amicably resolve any disagreements. Should this not be possible, the court in Ljubljana shall have jurisdiction to settle the dispute.
